Are we able to convey fashion at minus 22

The New Year brings a new question, are we seriously able to remain fashionable at minus temperatures?January is an ultimate ski month, so taking off to the French Alps brought more than first desired, a warm cosy jumper, fluffy boots and an abundance of leggings are no longer considered the sensible clothing for a ski break. I have since realised that fashion is everywhere, there is nowhere to hide. Under layers of last years thermals still lies a bare body with a panful surge of frostbite, I asked myself the same question over and over, am I stuck in a comfortable rut.Whilst skiing I noticed people with the most outrageous snow gear, including diamante boots and a fresh face of makeup including red lipstick and false eyelashes. After feeling very under-dressed for the slopes I started to make an 'effort' to brave the cold. Not only did I still look unacceptable, I was clearly unaware of the numerous amounts of people wearing his 'n' hers suits. My boyfriend and I were at a total clash him in fluoro green and me in pastel yellow. Feeling very vulnerable, I took an afternoon off the slopes to confront the ski shops around our local village, to my disgust neither was I able to afford anything, the sizes only ranged from zero to two . Our model attitude to size zero and an unreal price tag had capitalised to the smallest towns in the middle of mountain, just to inform you heels are also considered ok when worn with appropriate accessories, if you think a ski break is a week away from effort think again.
